Gujarat Rain Forecast: When will there be relief from heavy rains? The meteorological department has forecast rain

 GUJARAT IMD's rain alert 


Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a interview on Sunday with District Collectors from the State Emergency Operations Center to review the measures taken to deal with the situation  stand up due to heavy rains in South Gujarat including Chhotaudepur. 

 

The average downfall in the last three hours is114.3 mm. Heavy rains bombarded colorful sections including Valsad, Navsari, Tapi, and others. Paldi, Vasana, and Ellis Bridge areas entered the maximum downfall of241.3 mm. A part of a ground collapsed due to ceaseless heavy downfall in Chhota Udaipur on Sunday. 


Amid the flood tide- suchlike situation around 700 people were vacated and taken to safe spots as the deliverance operations continued on Sunday. 

Before, the Auranga swash overflowed and a cataracts- suchlike situation was also seen in low- lying areas in the Valsad quarter due to heavy downfall. 

 

 

The NDRF brigades and original administration carry out relief and deliverance workshop in the area. 


The India Meteorological Department( IMD) on Sunday prognosticated heavy to veritably heavy downfall with insulated extremely heavy showers during the coming five days in south Gujarat's sections of Dang, Navsari, and Valsad. 

 

Several other sections of south Gujarat and Saurashtra are also likely to admit heavy to veritably heavy downfall during this period, the IMD said. 


 KARNATAKA IMD's downfall alert

 MAHARASHTRA IMD'S downfall alert 

 

Several corridor of Maharashtra have witnessed heavy downfall over the once many days amidst the wet spell on the state since the onset of a torrential thunderstorm. 


The capital megacity has been witnessing heavy rain since Monday following which areas are doused and business movement has been affected. 

 

On Tuesday, a landslide event was reported in Ghatkopar's Panchsheel Nagar in Mumbai amidst heavy rains, which demolished a house. And on Wednesday, another landslide was reported near Pratapgarh Fort in Maharashtra's Satara quarter. 

Several gutters in the state have reached the warning position. The Kundalika swash has crossed the warning position and the water position of the Amba, Savitri, Patalganga, Ulhas, and Garhi gutters are slightly below the warning position. 

 

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department( IMD) has prognosticated a fresh spell of violent downfall over Maharashtra from July 12.
