જો બાઈડન સાથે મુલાકાત, આતંકવાદ-અફઘાન પર સંવાદ... PM મોદીનું અમેરિકા પ્રવાસનુ આયોજન

વડા પ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદી બુધવારે અમેરિકાના પ્રવાસે જઈ રહ્યા છે. કોરોના સંકટના કારણે છ મહિના બાદ પીએમ મોદી વિદેશ યાત્રા કરશે. અમેરિકાના આ પ્રવાસ પર પીએમ મોદી પહેલીવાર રાષ્ટ્રપતિ જો બાઈડનને મળશે. પીએમના આ પ્રવાસમાં ક્વાડ સમૂહની સાથે-સાથે આતંકવાદ અને અફઘાનિસ્તાન પર પણ વાત થશે. ક્વાડ સમૂહની બેઠકમાં ચીન, કોવિડ સંકટ અને ક્લાઈમેટ ચેન્જ પર પણ વાત થઈ શકે છે.
પીએમ મોદી અહીં ક્વાડ સમૂહની પહેલી ઈન-પર્સન મીટમાં સામેલ થશે. જેનુ ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા, જાપાન અને અમેરિકા પણ ભાગ છે. પીએમ સંયુક્ત રાષ્ટ્રની જનરલ એસેમ્બલીને પણ સંબોધિત કરશે.
શુ હશે પીએમ મોદીનો કાર્યક્રમ
પીએમ મોદી 23 સપ્ટેમ્બર સવારે અમેરિકાના ટોપ CEO ને મળશે. આમાં એપ્પલના CEO ટિમ કુક પણ સામેલ છે. આ દિવસે પીએમ અમેરિકાના ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિ કમલા હેરિસ સાથે મળી શકે છે. 23 સપ્ટેમ્બરે જ પીએમ મોદી ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાના પોતાના સમકક્ષથી દ્વીપક્ષીય મીટિંગ કરશે.
આ સાથે-સાથે અમેરિકી રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ક્વાડ દેશોના નેતાઓના ડિનરની મેજબાની કરશે. 24 સપ્ટેમ્બરે પીએમ મોદી વ્હાઈટ હાઉસમાં જો બાઈડન સંગ દ્વિપક્ષીય ચર્ચા કરશે.
ક્વાડ દેશોની થશે મીટિંગ
પીએમ મોદી સંગ દ્વિપક્ષીય મીટિંગ બાદ ક્વાડ દેશોના પીએમ બાઈડન સંગ વ્હાઈટ હાઉસમાં મીટિંગ પણ કરશે. જેમાં ચીન દ્વારા ભારત-પ્રશાંત ક્ષેત્રમાં પેદા કરવામાં આવેલી અશાંતિ પર ચર્ચા થશે. તાજેતરમાં જ US, ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા અને UK એ એક ડિફેન્સ ડીલ સાઈન કરી છે. AUKUS ડીલમાં ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા પરમાણુ પૉવર વાળી સબમરીન બનાવાશે.
આ સિવાય ક્વાડ બેઠકમાં કોરોના સંકટ, વેક્સિન વગેરે પર પણ વાત થશે. વિદેશ મંત્રી એસ જયશંકર પહેલા જ જણાવી ચૂક્યા છે કે ક્વાડનો હેતુ માત્ર ક્ષેત્ર વિશેષની સુરક્ષા સુધી સીમિત નથી. જેમાં ક્લાઈમેટ ચેન્જ, શિક્ષણ જેવા મુદ્દે પર પણ ચર્ચા થઈ શકે છે.
25 સપ્ટેમ્બરે UNGAમાં પીએમ મોદીનુ સંબોધન
પીએમ મોદી વૉશિંગ્ટનથી ન્યુ યોર્ક જશે. ત્યાં તે યુએન જનરલ એસેમ્બલીના 76માં સેશન દરમિયાન જનરલ ડિબેટને સંબોધિત કરશે. આ કાર્યક્રમ 25 સપ્ટેમ્બરે થશે.
અફઘાન સંકટ, પાકિસ્તાન પણ એજન્ડામાં સામેલ
પીએમ મોદીના અમેરિકાના પ્રવાસના એજન્ડામાં અફઘાનિસ્તાન અને પાકિસ્તાન પણ છે. પીએમ મોદી અફઘાનમાં તાલિબાન સરકાર પર પોતાનુ વલણ પહેલેથી જ સ્પષ્ટ કરી ચૂક્યા છે. અફઘાનિસ્તાન પર થયેલા SCO-CSTO આઉટરીચ સમિટમાં પીએમ મોદીએ તાલિબાન શાસનમાં મહિલાઓ અને લઘુમતીના પ્રત્યે ચિંતા વ્યક્ત કરી હતી. તેમણે UNથી આ મુદ્દે હસ્તક્ષેપની માગ કરી હતી અને કહ્યુ હતુ કે તાલિબાન સરકારને માન્યતા આપવી કે નહીં આ વૈશ્વિક સ્તરે નક્કી થવુ જોઈએ.
