There is a happy news for 48 lakh central employees across the country. Increased allowance of central employees will be paid from this month's salary.
The Central Finance Ministry has told all the ministries that central employees will receive incremental allowance from July salary as per the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission. The central government's decision will benefit 48 lakh central employees. At the same time, the government has increased the deployment of soldiers in Siachen and anti-militant campaigns and the risk allowance of security personnel deployed in the Naxal areas by two times. The allowance given to soldiers deployed in Siachen, the world's highest war zone, has been increased from Rs.14 thousand rupees per month to 30 thousand rupees. The allowance for the officials has been increased by Rs 21 thousand to 42,500 rupees.
It is to be noted that the central government approved the increased allowance in accordance with the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission last month. Due to this, the government treasury will have a burden of Rs 30,748 crores.
