 Gujarat borders the Tharparkar, Badin and Thatta sections of Pakistan's Sindh fiefdom to the northwest, is bounded by the Arabian Sea to the southwest, the state of Rajasthan to the northeast, Madhya Pradesh to the east, and by Maharashtra, the Union region of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu to the south. 

 The western Indian state Gujarat has 33 sections after several splits of the original 17 sections at the conformation of the state in 1960. 

 Kutch is the largest quarter of Gujarat while Dang is the lowest. Ahmedabad is the most populated quarter while Kutch is the least.

Historically, the north was known as Anarta, the Kathiawar promontory," Saurastra", and the south as" Lata". Gujarat was also studied as Pratichya and Varuna. The Arabian Sea makes up the state's western seacoast. The capital, Gandhinagar is a planned megacity. Gujarat has an area of,686 sq mi(,030 km2) with the longest bank( 24 of Indian ocean seacoast),600 kilometres( 990 mi), dotted with 41 anchorages one major, 11 intermediate and 29 minor. 

Chorwad Beach- Chorwad Beach of Gujarat is another sand positioned on the west seacoast of India. It's positioned at a distance of 66 km from Junagadh. Chorwad has a high eventuality of attracting both domestic as well as transnational excursionists.( citation demanded) The sand consists of rocky hills and presents an occasion for boat lifts. 

 

 Diu Beach- Diu sand is positioned off the Saurashtra seacoast and is connected to the state of Gujarat via a causeway. Diu is a isolated islet and has a small population. 

Umbergam Beach- Umargam is about 6 km from Umargam Road road station on Mumbai- Surat rail section. This region was a part of Thane quarter previous to the creation of Gujarat in 1960. 

 

 Umargam is place on the southern bank of Nargol creek. It was a small vill about two centuries agone

 , serving as a conveyance point for exporting marine yield from the fishing harborage Nargol on the Northern Bank of the creek. 

Madhavpur Beach- Madhavpur Ghed Beach is on Porbandar- Veraval Highway and abiding in Porbadar. It's a well- known sightseer magnet with high current runs reaching the props with deadly speed and establishes colorful original installations, may it be camel lifts or booths of baked sludge. Due to severe high currents, sand conditioning during thunderstorm seasons are limited.
