The rescue operation was completed 45 hours after the ropeway accident at Trikut Parvat in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Of the 48 people trapped in the rope-way trolley, 46 have been rescued.

 



A total of 4 people were killed and more than 12 were injured in the accident. The next day during the rescue, a woman died after falling from a trolley. Also on Monday, a young man was killed when he fell while boarding a helicopter.

A team of Army, Air Force, ITBP and NDRF rescued 33 people by three helicopters after a 12-hour operation on Monday.
