Deputy Commissioner Pankaj said that the state government has also implemented cashless medical facility for government employees and pensioners. This scheme is proving very beneficial for both employees and pensioners. Provision has been made for cashless medical treatment facility up to five lakh rupees. Apart from this, health services are also provided to employees for treatment of other diseases.
He said that for these, it is mandatory to submit copies of medical bills within two months of employee treatment. For the successful implementation of the medical cashless scheme in each district, the concerned medical superintendent has been appointed as the nodal officer. A medical superintendent can be contacted to resolve any type of problem. It has been decided to give the benefit of cashless medical treatment facility to heart attack patients, brain hemorrhage and injured people with lightning shots. This scheme will be applicable in all the Government Medical Colleges, Aided Medical Colleges, District Hospitals, other health institutions in the state and private hospitals kept on the panel. It is mandatory for all employees and pensioners to get a valid identity card from the concerned departments, which can be presented during the course of therapy.
The Deputy Commissioner said that it covers all types of accidents. If an employee is suddenly injured in a road and other accident, then he / she will get better medical facilities without any money on immediate admission to the panel hospital. Employees and pensioners going into a coma during the accident have also been linked to this facility. Apart from this, this scheme has also been implemented for cancer patients. If an employee gets cancer and is in third and fourth stage, then his treatment will be under cashless facility
Deputy Commissioner Pankaj said that this scheme has been implemented in the district in full. If an employee undergoes any type of test then they are not required to spend cash money. Rates of packages, surgeries, procedures, organ transplants, etc. are displayed on the website of the Department of Health. It is mandatory to provide 100 percent treatment and treatment to private hospitals
