 Helmet New Rules in Gujarat 


A new helmet law will be enacted in Gujarat, according to which it will not be possible to drive a vehicle wearing the same helmet from next June, the transport department of the Center has ordered to wear only a special type of helmet. In view of this, drivers will have to change their helmets once again, otherwise they will have to pay a fine.







The new rule of helmet will be applicable from 01-06-2021

The new law on helmets will come in the four major cities of the state, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat. The new law will come into force on 01-06-2021. For this, the Office of the Commissioner of Transport has directed the Director General of Police and the Commissioner of Police of the four cities to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. A copy of SO 4252 dated 26-11-2020 has been sent, according to which the order provides for helmet standard mark IS 4151: 2015 for two-wheeler drivers. This order has to be implemented from 01-06-2021. Helmets without IS 4151 will not be considered valid from this date.


Made some new rules to prevent road accidents

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has recently made major and significant changes in the rules for riding bikes in view of the increasing number of road accidents in the country. The government has drafted some new rules to protect bike riders from road accidents. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has prepared guidelines in this regard. Rules have also been drawn up for bikers as well as some people sitting in the back. The rules have been amended to take into account safety measures. If this is not followed, the currency will be cut.
