CBSE revises class 10 board exam 2018 passing criteria know the new pass percentage here
CBSE has given great relief to the passing students of the tenth standard board examination. Now, to get the exam candidates this year, the new rule will have to bring 33 instead of 35! Apart from this, some other changes have been made.
CBSE has introduced new rules, according to which the students will have to take 33 marks instead of 35 in the tenth examination to pass. Apart from this, the internal assessment mark is also counted. This means that 80 marks of 20 marks board examination of internal assessment will be considered for total 100 marks.
The Central Board of Secondary Education issued the notification on Tuesday. This rule will be implemented with this year’s examination. According to senior officials of CBSE, this decision has been taken to give special relief to the students.
This time the board examinations of tenth standard are starting from March 5 and after eight years, this examination has been made compulsive again. CBSE had previously selected the Board’s examination with the Continuing and Continuous Evaluation (CCE) scheme
The school can not stop any student’s admittance card: CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education has warned the school that the admittance card of any student who is eligible for the examination of the school board can not be stopped. In some cases the school does not provide an admittance card to prevent them from passing board exams following poor performance in pre-board exams. Some schools charge fees as well.
