10 Rupee Notes Will Be Closed? Center Gives Notice To High Court

Next 10 notes will be closed and coins will be issued instead. On Friday, the Central Government gave information about this to the High Court. The court said that the government will call blind people for the investigation of new notes. The executive said to the Chief Justice of the Central Government, Sanjay Jain from the Central Government, that coins will be issued at the place of not less than 10 rupees.

He said that the notes of 20 and 50 rupees can be easily identified by visually impaired persons. In a public interest petition filed in the High Court, it has been said that non-blind persons have to face severe difficulties due to lack of mark for identification of new notes. The High Court asked the central government to enter the affidavit and tell how the identities of this coin will be separated from one another.

The court has fixed March 7 for next hearing. The court said on ASG's claim that they could invite some obscure individuals to look into it. The Central Government and the Reserve Bank of India prosecutor before the court said that after discussions with experts on the new notes and after considering the suggestions of some organizations working for the eyesight, it has been announced.

The Central Government and the RBI told the court that the mark for the identity of 20 and 50 rupees notes has not been made, because this is very expensive and disappears with time. However, this upmarket icon has been made for people with visual impairments worth 100 and more. Apart from this, a special mark will be made for identification at the corner of one, two, five and 10 rupees.
