Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre (OFRC), Nagpur has published vacancy notification for direct recruitment of Industrial Employees (Semi-Skilled Grade) in Indian Ordnance Factories (IOF). The Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for filling up vacancies/ posts in Semi-Skilled grade of various trades in Group-'C' Industrial Establishment under Direct Recruitment through OMR based Examination 2017-18. The OFRC Recruitment of Industrial Employees for filling up total vacancies is tentatively 5186 and is subject to change. Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2017 Group C posts online registration will be available soon.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 32 years as on closing date of online application. The Upper Age Relaxations will be applicable as per Govt. order / rules.
Pay Scale: Pay Scale Level 1 Entry Pay (EP) of ₹ 18000/- plus allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees.
Minimum Qualification: Matriculation + NAC/NTC (ITI) issued by NCVT in the relevant trade.
Selection Process: OMR based Examination and Trade Test (Practical) at respective factory along with document verification.
Centres of Exam: The Centre will be allotted with respect to location of the Ordnance Factory applied by the candidate in one of the 12 centres viz. Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Kolkata, Kanpur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Trichy. Additional centres like Bhopal, Lucknow and Dehradun may be included.
Medium of Exam: The examination will be trilingual, i.e., Hindi, English and regional language of the State where the factory against which the candidate has applied is located. With reference to Ordnance Factories and their respective locations, this translates to English, Hindi & any one regional language among the following Bengali/ Marathi/ Oriya/ Tamil/ Telugu.
Examination Fee: ₹ 50/- for General and OBC Candidates. The Fee exemption shall be applicable to candidates of different categories as per Govt. Rules.
How to Apply: Eligible Interested ITI Candidates Apply Online through OFB e-Portal. All the candidates including Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories are required to apply online only. The OFRC short advertisement published in Employment News Paper dated 27th May – 2nd June 2017 Issue. The Online Registration start from 5th June 2017.

Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre (OFRC), Nagpur invites Online applications from Indian citizens for engagement of 55th Batch (for Non-ITI and ITI candidates) of Trade Apprentices under the 'Apprentices Act 1961' in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different States across India. The total number of vacancies is approximately 6948, the highest ever as part of OFB's Skill India Mission. The last date for submission of online applications is 10th February 2017.

Age Limit: Between 14 to 22 years as on the last date of submission of online application. Age Relaxation:- SC/ST: 5 years, for OBC: 3 years, for Physically Handicapped (PH) / Physically Challenged (PC): 10 years.
Eligibility:
For Non-ITI Category ->  Madhyamik Passed (10th Class or Matric standard or equivalent) with minimum 40% marks in aggregate with 40% marks in each of mathematics & Science.
For ITI Category -> Should have passed ITI trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT (SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour & Employment, with duration as per the Apprentice Act, 1961) and should possess the qualification as on the last date of online application.
Application Fee: There is no fee for any candidate.
Scheme of Examination: The written examination will be as follows:-
(a) For Non-ITI Candidates -> Written Test (One Paper of 03 hours duration, total questions 150) consisting of questions on English, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Aptitude/ Reasoning, as per Madhyamik ( Class: Xth Standard or equivalent).
(b) For ITI Candidates -> Written Test (one paper consisting of 02 parts of 03 hours duration, total questions 150) 

PART - A: Questions on English, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Aptitude/Reasoning approx. 40% out of total number of questions. 
PART - B: Questions on the group of subject trades - approx. 60% out of total number of questions.
Medium of Examination: 3 Languages formula: The candidate can choose English or Hindi or language of the state in which ordnance factory chosen by the candidate is located (Bengali/ Marathi/ Oriya/ Tamil/ Telugu).
Centre of Examination: Centre will be allotted w.r.t. location of the ordnance factory and medium of examination chosen by the candidate in one of the 12 centres viz. Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jabalpur Kolkata, Kanpur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Trichy.

The Online registration start from 20/01/2017 and closing date for submission of online application is 10/02/2017.

Candidates who have already applied through the Government Of India portal, www.apprenticeship.gov.in are required to re-apply for issue of Admit Card for written examination through OFB Site.
