Gujarat

The state government has announced the resumption of colleges and schools for 10th and 12th class students from Wednesday, January 11. Students in class 10 and 12 will have to show the written consent of their parents when they come to school.

"Students in grades 10 to 12 and 12 will participate in classes from today. Masks and sanitation have been made mandatory," he said.

Schools for 10th and 12th classes and colleges for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students in Gujarat reopened on Monday after being closed for more than nine months due to coronavirus outbreak. State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama told reporters that students, teachers and other staff members must wear masks and maintain social distance, and everyone entering schools and colleges is being screened.
