MANI App- Mobile Aided Note Identifier - Reaserve bank of India Official appOn January 1, 2020 the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) launched a mobile app for visually and /or hearing impaired people to identify the denomination of currency notes. Called the Mobile Aided Note Identifier (MANI), it seeks to help such people who faced various problems in accessing the new and old currency notes of the Mahatma Gandhi Series. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has clarified, however, that the MANI app does not authenticate a currency note as genuine or counterfeit while scanning them.



Banknotes under Mahatma Gandhi (New) series with change in the size and design were introduced in November 2016. Under this new series, banknotes in the denominations of Rs.10, Rs.20, Rs.50, Rs.100, Rs.200 Rs.500 and Rs.2000 have since been released. The Reserve Bank of India has been sensitive to the challenges faced by the visually challenged in conducting their day to day business with Indian banknotes. This application will aid the visually impaired to identify the denomination of Indian banknotes of Mahatma Gandhi Series and Mahatma Gandhi (New) series by capturing the image of the notes placed in front of rear mobile camera. The application will generate audio and non-sonic notification intimating the currency note denomination to the user.

Using the app, a visually challenged person can scan and identify the denominations by checking the front or reverse side of a currency note, including folded notes. The app also works offline to scan and identify the denominations of currency notes once it is installed.

"Technological progress has opened up new opportunities for making Indian banknotes more accessible for the visually impaired, thereby facilitating their day to day transactions," the RBI said in a statement. Educational work is done in all government primary schools of the state under Pragya approach in standard one and two. Literature prepared according to Pragya approach is given in schools every year in the month of June. Students have to do the writing work individually. Since this is an activity based program, the writing work is done after the students do the activities as suggested in the card and as shown in the teacher’s version.

But due to the current situation of the covid 19, the students can not be called to the school so that the educational issues of the unit are broadcast by Doordarshan Kendra DD Girnar for the education work of students of Std. 3 to 12 from June. Educational Broadcast is being done. Textbooks have been given to the students of Std 1 to 2.


There is no separate textbook for students of Std. 1 to 12 in Pragya approach but they have to get group meeting in the classroom process and write in textbook according to Pragya approach so that students cannot be called in schools at present. Through Girnar Channel, in the presence of the teacher and in the presence of the guardian, the students are asked to make proper arrangements for proper writing in the textbook.


Standard 2 Ganit Ekam 15, 16 Writing Guidence.
Standard 2 Mathematics Chapter One i.e. Activities under Units 15 and 16 are given. In the first activity, the things that can slip and the things that can slip and the same and the things that can slip have to be differentiated. So here is the video with the activity.

Pictures are given in standard 2 Gujarati Swadhyayapothi Maa Unit 9 and words are to be made from the picture in the given room. To make it easier for the student to do the activity, a video is given here as a guide. As shown in this video, the student has to do the activity with pencil in the room. Pitch is empty space in the room and it is written. In the empty space we have to write the word Ka Pichkari so we have to do all the activities in this way. As a guide, here is a very funny video. It is necessary to take two photographs from different horizontal positions to get a true stereoscopic image pair. This can be done with two separate side-by-side cameras; with one camera moved from one position to another between exposures; with one camera and a single exposure by means of an attached mirror or prism arrangement that presents a stereoscopic image pair to the camera lens; or with a stereo camera incorporating two or more side-by-side lenses.




Charles Wheatstone first began experimenting with stereopsis in 1838 using specially constructed drawings. The invention of photography in 1839 opened up a new and more detailed medium for his experiments and the first photographic stereoscopic pairs appeared in the early 1840s as Daguerreotypes and Calotypes. By the 1850s, a stereoscope and an assortment of professionally photographed stereo views were becoming part of the standard equipment of a properly furnished middle-class parlor. In the 1890s, photographic plates and films sensitive enough to make casual “snapshot” photography practical were available, and combined with easy-to-use cameras they were making amateur photography a very popular hobby. Stereo cameras were in the mix. The earliest were inconveniently large and the end result was a pair of paper prints mounted on a card for viewing in a standard stereoscope. They were soon joined by smaller cameras that yielded relatively small stereo slides on glass. The popularity of stereo photography declined after the First World War and plummeted during the Great Depression of the 1930s.

New rules for the transfer and promotion of teachers have been announced by consensus after discussions with both the teachers’ unions.

Giving details in this regard, the state education minister Jitu Waghan said that the state government has taken an important decision today to maintain the interest of education, students, and teachers. The Chief Minister has also given his approval to this decision. Which will directly affect 2 lakh teachers in the state.

Till now, 40 per cent of the vacant teachers in the district were given the benefit of district transfer. Now 100 per cent space will be given the benefit of 56 district transfers. It was required to be the hometown of the teachers concerned in district fair interaction and district internal interaction transfer, that provision has been removed.

Teachers who have been appointed on the condition of working in one place for 10 years will be able to apply for transfer even after 5 years.The spouses of government employees who are transferable from one district to another in the state may be deputed if they are primary teachers or head teachers in government schools.

The government will release official notification for RTE Gujarat admission form under Gujarat primary education act. Through the RTE Gujarat Admission 2021 the government will provide admission to the candidates in primary standards. Children of age group born between 2 June 2016 to 1 June 2015 will be considered for admission. Along with that the child must belong to one of the categories:- SC/ST with Parent’s Annual Income upto 2 Lakh, OBC with Parent’s Annual Income upto 1 Lakh and GEN Category with Annual Income up to 68,000.
