2000 Rupees Notes Can be Closed, Claims Made in SBI Report
NEW DELHI: With the report released by State Bank of India (SBI), one can once again sleep for Aam Aadmi. According to the report, the Reserve Bank of India is likely to withdraw the notes of rupees 2000 or stop printing of new notes.
According to SBI’s Ecoflash report, by March 2017, the value of small currency notes in circulation was 3501 billion rupees. By December 8, the value of large currency notes circulating in the market was 13,324 billion rupees.

SBI Financial Advisor Head Soumya has been prepared by Rev. Ghosh. RBI may increase the printing of large-value currency and increase the printing of small-value currency notes. Currently, the ratio of small notes running circulars in the market is 35% of the total notes
The Modi government banned the 500 and 1000 notes of the big value of November 8, 2016. As well as the RBI issued a new note of 2000 and 500. Therefore, November 8, 2016, is known as the Nocturne Day.
