Vijay Rupani on Sunday declared Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana (MMUY). This is a plan of giving without interest advances to ladies’ gatherings in the state. It is set to be propelled on September 17, the birthday of PM Narendra Modi. An official delivery said that the administration is wanting to give complete loaning up to Rs.1,000 crore to these gatherings to be enlisted as a joint obligation and procuring gathering (JLEG). ➤ A presentation of the portal www.mmuy.gujarat.gov.in with details of participating banks and financial institutions as well as eligibility of the beneficiaries was made at the meeting



The multipurpose scheme was started on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s last birthday on September 17, 2020 as a gift for economic uplift of women under the guidance of the Chief Minister to help one lakh such Women’s Groups – ten women in each group – with a target of covering ten lakh women, including 50,000 groups in rural areas and 50,000 in urban areas, start cottage industry or small business.
