Before taking E-PIN, the candidate should check his / her admission qualification.

B.ED. Candidates wishing to get admission in the course must first get the E-PIN for filling up the online admission form from the university website www.baou.edu.in. In which you will find the username and password for online registration. With the help of this username-password, the entrant can enter Dr. B.Ed. given on Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University website www.baou.edu.in. Register by following the instructions on the online entrance test application link. And to complete the application process in orderly steps. The entrant must enter the entry form into the Mozilla browser. Before starting the registration, to scan all the documents for educational qualification and other necessary documents and keep them in the appropriate size in a soft copy, to decide that the entrance test has to be given only in the subject where Method-1 is to be kept in B.ED. Married sisters should register under a changed name only if they have a copy of the gazette regarding the name after marriage. If not, to register under the name given in the marksheet indicating the educational qualification. Step-01: Decide on the subject in which the Entrance Test is to be given. Click on Online Registration. In the page that opens, fill in the details of name, caste, and subject (Method-1 for which the entrance examination is to be given) as per the instructions. These details cannot be changed once submitted, so submit carefully by providing a username and password. Enter the username and password by clicking on “Sign-in” in the given menu.

Step-02: After signing in, click on Form Entry and fill in all the details in capital letters.


Step-03: Go to Upload Documents menu and upload the following documents. Keep in mind that if the size of the documents will be more, then after resizing it, upload it

Passport size photo

Candidate's signature

School leaving certificate

Bachelor Degree Marksheet (B.A./B.COM./B.SC./B.E.)

Postgraduate Degree Marksheet (M.A./M.COM./M.SC./M.E.)

Regular Mode Course Marksheet (PTC, D.Ed., D.El.Ed., C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed.) from NCTE Accredited

Educational Institution
Certificates of total experience
Certificate of current employment (after 01/10/2020)

Caste Certificate (EWS / SC / ST / SEBC Crimilayer dated after 31/03/2020) If the applicant has attached CBC's Crimilayer for a period of three years, the applicant must attach his Form-16 / Salary Slip of his / her income.



Certificate of Disability (PH) (60% Certificate of Civil Surgeon regarding disability if applicable)

Copy of Aadhaar card.

Give the candidate his own phone number and e-mail.

Step-04: After uploading the document, the entrant will see the details of the completed form on the screen. If it is found to be correct or defective, then it has to be corrected by clicking on ‘Edit Option’ given below and if it is not found to be defected, then ‘Final Admission Submission’ has to be clicked. By doing this, the e-Admission Form of the entrant will be generated in PDF. After printing, the entrant has to attach the following documents and submit them at the university within the given time limit.

Step-05: Enclosed self-attested copy of all the above mentioned documents along with the printed form. To be sent to Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad in self admissions department, in person or by registered post within the given time limit. Certificate of Experience (Competent Officer / Acting Principal of the school and if acting as Principal in the school with counter signature of the superior officer on the Certificate of Experience) as well as Candidates who have submitted their Certificate to another office should attach a certified copy of the same. Passed, NCTE approved course marksheet, graduate, post graduate marksheet, caste certificate, disability (PH 60% disability) certificate, LC, Aadhaar card etc. to be enclosed. Please visit the University website www.baou.edu.in regularly for admission, examination and other instructions.
