The app offers support for 100 different languages and is used by 200 million people daily. But, did you know that you can use Google Translate in any of the Android app you want? Yes, the app comes with a feature called Tap to Translate which enables a user to use it with any of the app they want. Be it WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, you can use this feature in any app.
Users just have to follow some simple steps in order to enable the Tap to Translate feature.
In order to enable the Tap to Translate feature in Google Translate, first of all you have to download the latest version of the app from Google Play Store. Once downloaded then launch the app and click on the three line button placed on the top left corner of the app to go to Settings.
Once you click on Settings, then you will see the first option of Tap to Translate. You have to click on that and then enable the option by tapping on the toggle button. After this process the Tap to Translate feature will be available for all the Android apps.
In case you want to check that the feature is working or not just head to any app. For instance, you go to WhatsApp and simply select and copy any message you wish to translate. After you have copied a message, you will see the Google Translate icon on the top right corner. Just tap on that and you will be able to read the translation of the message. After that you can also revert back in the same language using Google Translate.
This feature offers easy translation and also prevents you from the hassle of switching apps every time you wish to translate a text.
